Hope Ives Mauran, grew up in Providence Rhode Island, she is the mother of three children and currently lives in the Hudson Valley of New York state. Her spiritual journey began in the late 1980's after she read Embraced by the Light, by Betty J. Eadie and opened up to the possibility that there was more to life than was evident to the eye. In 1999 she began communicating with her spirit guides, and she comes to her understanding of Jesus' teaching by direct communication and not from existing sources. Hope Ives Mauran is a translator of wisdom from other dimensions. She has always felt a deep affinity with nature and expresses her love for the earth and creation through writing, art, and teaching. She has authored Be the Second Coming, Guidebook to the Embodiment of the Christ Within: a Personal Journey, Our Collective Destiny, Where the Wisdom Lies: A Message from Nature's Small Creatures and an audio CD, Emotional Transformation: Learn to Speak the Language of Creation. She is an artist of eco-spiritual modified landscapes, and guided drawings.
Mauran's spiritual view of life has expanded her definition of the environment to include the interior landscapes of human beings, thus expanding the array of tools available to us to enact change in the world.
Mauran holds a bachelor of science in forestry from the University of New Hampshire. She founded Trees for Rye, a tree planting organization, and was a member of the Rye Conservation Commission. She has been lead to many books and teachers.
